Felicia Day on Picking up Girls in "Warcraft"

Felicia Day is an actress that you probably saw on Buffy, The Legend of Neil, or Bring It On Again.  She’s a fiery redhead, and it turns out, a WoW player.  In fact, she produced the web series The Guild which is about a WoW guild meeting for the first time in real life.  Will romance be in the digital ether?  Is that even possible? Felicia Day gives you a few hints after the jump.

In her interview with Asylum, she’s got a few interesting things to say:

Yeah, I hate to say that, but if you're a noob you probably won't get a second glance. Just like in real life when a guy drives a Ferrari, it might not be an automatic thumbs up, but it does catch the eye. So if you have the Ferrari of broadswords, yeah.

She goes on to say that you’re “pieces need to match” meaning that your avatar has to be dressed smartly, to use lolspeak artfully and without excess, and to give a few tasteful gifts, you know, like an magical platinum helm or some really sexy (yet elegant) gauntlets.  Romance is not dead!

However, be wary of "keyboard chemistry."  Not all that glitters is WoW gold:

I think you should definitely take it offline. I dated a guy once who had a great speaking voice but there was just nothing there when we were together. That happens, people have "keyboard chemistry" as I call it in the show and they get together in real life and it's not what they were expecting.
