Sorry but Beatles were the best rock and roll band ever Stones were influenced by them. I hate when people say the stones are the best, they don't know anything about music and no matter what any band does...THE BEATLES DID IT! No band holds a candle to The Beatles and I really don't care who says otherwise. Learn your music history then come back with something legitimate to say.

tracedbyflame is so right when it comes to song writing, and studio recorded material. But The Stones have always been a better live band as was the Who and Led Zepplin (ask the critics and even John Lennon in an interview said the stones were a better live band and this is a concert movie afterall.

I'm also a fan of the director

I thought the same thing till I saw a band called "U2" two years ago here in Philadelphia. Geeze they even brought Bruce "The Boss" Springsteen up with his wife to do two songs with them. Easily THE best LIVE band I have ever seen somone finally topped the Stones. Sorry.
