Borat is just another zit on the butt of humanity. I guess Hitler got a lot of laughs off the humiliation of Jews too.

Borat (the character) is funny because he is a caricature - not becaue he gets laughs at the expense of Jews, 'mavis888'. Obviously everything Borat (the character) says is the opposite of what normal people are supposed to think. Everything about the character is absurd. Its called SATIRE. The effect of Borat is not, therefore, to make fun of Jews, women, feminists, blacks, queers, etc., but rather to make fun of the good ol' boys, violent neo-islamists, and anyone else who (like Borat) is involved in keeping disenfranchised peoples, political dissidents, and other non-conformists from being fully integrated into society. The genius thing that Sascha Baron Cohen did in creating this character is to show how abnormal it is to be antifeminist, anti-semitic, anti-whatever. He villifies these traits by giving them to a vain, immoral, self-centered, disgusting (but funny to laugh at) character (Borat) from Kazakstan. What American would be proud to say that he/she thinks like Borat??? I saw the movie, it is hilarious. I thought I might puke during the naked hairy man wrestling scene, but overall it was hilarious and did a great job. The scene with alan Keys was great, as was the scene with the feminists. Oddly enough, I thought the acting in the scene with the frat boys was terrible, and it turns out these kids were hardly acting - if at all. All in all, this was satirical humor meets gross-out humor. It's a genius combination. All in all, 'mavis888' your arguement that this film is any bit humiliating to Jews is silly. The only thing that's humiliating (and saddening) is that there are people out there, who just don't get it. For all the others, there's laughter and a subconconscious ethics check for the people who saw the movie who are a little homophobic, racist, anti-semitic, anti-feminist, etc. Cheers!
