This isn’t a film. I wanted to get better with generative AI, to understand what it can actually do beyond the hype and fear, so I made “Face Like Mine”. When I told people, some looked at me like I was doing something evil. I get it. AI in art makes creative people uncomfortable. I’m conflicted too, but the future of filmmaking is going to change, and ignoring that won’t stop it. I don’t think AI is here to replace artists. It’s a tool, and like any tool, it depends on how you use it. There’s going to be a middle ground, and it’s probably where the most interesting work will happen. This isn’t a film… y
