I developed Blue Buddha as a quiet drama about an elderly man, Arthur, who is preparing to end his life in a hotel room. A room-service tray containing an unusual blue soup and a letter meant for another guest interrupts him. I built the screenplay around small changes in his behaviour: reading the letter, setting aside his medicine, putting on his coat and finally speaking with the bellboy in the lift.
I established visual references for Arthur, the bellboy and the hotel before planning individual shots. The dark wood, brass lighting and patterned corridors helped the separately generated spaces feel connected. I kept the palette restrained so the blue soup and orange medicine bottle remained clear story elements.
I planned each scene as a sequence of wide shots, close-ups, object inserts and reactions. For the generated images and motion, I focused on one action at a time: a glance, a breath, a hand lowering a bottle. I selected short, believable fragments and edited them into a continuous performance, checking faces, props, eye lines and room geography throughout. Sound, dialogue, room ambience and music completed the emotional progression; Suno AI is credited for the music.
